Synopsis:
Nam (Pimchanok Lerwisetpibol), a young and ugly girl had a huge crush with Shone (Mario Maurer), the school’s heartthrob since her freshmen year. With the help of her supportive friends, she somehow got the chance to have some brief, close encounters with her knight in shining armor. It was not an easy road for Nam, though. Some girls were more beautiful and more talented than her. She thought that she will have no chance to be with Shone. Eventually, she grew up and became beautiful and discovered something more about Shone.

My very good online friend of mine recommended me this movie. And I thought it was a music video at first. But last night, I saw the status of my KPOP dongsaeng with the title and it dawned to me that it wasn’t a music video but a THAI MOVIE! So, I tried to watch the trailer.
You really should try watching the trailer first.You finish? After watching that amazing trailer DON’T TELL YOU’RE STILL NOT INTERESTED IN WATCHING THE WHOLE MOVIE because if you’re not, you better find where my house is and we will watch that movie together so whether you like it or not, you’ll have no fcking choice but to concentrate and try to focus on appreciating that genius film.
Yes, like what my friend said, if you don’t try watching this you’ll miss half of your life. Seriously, it’s worth your time. It will make you smile, make you laugh, make you do facepalm because it’s awkward and you’ve done that thing before, you’ll feel giddy and if you’re like me who is soo far away from high school, you’ll feel bad because you wanted to go back to your high school or late elementary days and experienced it all over again. I can relate, i always wanted to go back.
The main cast are just soooo great. Mario Maurer, you are so fcking handsome, can I put you inside my room and we will never get outside ever again. lol kidding.
Will finish this later, i’ll put my whole review, but for now, I gotta go and I have class at 1:30 pm. later friends!
If you think it was like any other high school cliche movies, you better think again.
Me, personally likes this kind of movie. A breath of fresh air, very light, very heartwarming, very touching, a heartbreaker story and I really had goosebumps especially the part when she confessed her feelings for Shone since the very beginning.
I love the plot, the actor and actresses, the teachers, the supportive friends of Nam and Shone(especially Pin), Nam’s Mom and annoying sis, and the way Nam transformed from an ugly duckling to a very beautiful swan.
I love the Love method book idea and of course, the Love Book of Shone. He’s sooooo thoughtful. He’s soooo sweet and romantic. And yeah, he’s fcking(excuse the swearing) delicious and beautiful, dammit! And when I found out the he LOVE Nam from the very beginning I suddenly wanted to cry! Geez, how lucky can she get?
I also love the trailer of the movie. People changed. Let’s face that FACT. But for Nam’s, she changed in a GOOD WAY and all her sacrifices, all her prayers and all her patience has been paid off.
I am definitely moved by this movie. It is amazingly written and I am willing to look for that tamarind thingy Nam’s friends applied to her body so I can have beautiful Thai skin too. LOLOLOLOLS
Sighed. After watching this I suddenly wanna go back to my precious elementary days. (skip the high school part, it was HELL) And fall in love all over again. Ha! I’m soooo faaar far away from that stage now and I already have to think about my future instead of looking for puppy love.
Oh, well this time it’s not puppy love anymore. Next year I’ll be saying bye bye to my teenage era and start living like a young adult. And hopefully, earn millions and millions. And HOPEFULLY, will finally meet the one I deserve.
Ya ya ya! This is a movie review, why do I have to squeeze in my personal issues here? lol
So yeah. I’m in hurry so mianhe(sorry) for my very short review. I hope you guys will love it as much as I do.
